Junkfood is a dining experience that captures the ‘trash to treasure’ spirit of thrift stores and flea markets. The restaurant’s mission is to provide an escape from the hustle of the nearby flea market while paying homage to the resourceful lifestyle of thrifters and home-growers. To support the community, all of the ingredients are bought fresh every Sunday at the local market. Featured on WHYY Friday Arts, February 2016. Winning entry in AIGA's Flux Student Competion, 2016.
The menu features an oxidized steel hardware and bronze screw post hinge with distressed wood backing.

Kettlecorn bag made from a burlap feed sack and lined with craft paper.
Berry baskets repurposed for containing fried foods.
An antique fisherman’s fly tying vice is used as a business card holder and the cards themselves are repurposed post cards with the Junkfood logo and type transferred onto the font.
Identity includes a menu, take-out bag, kettlecorn bag, jelly jars, berry baskets, costers, reservation table signs and business cards.
